According to the recent data revealed by BARC, the leading Hindi news channel Aaj Tak sets a benchmark by becoming the first news channel to record highest TRP amongst all genres of channels, with every 4th person in the TV universe seeing the channel. The rating of 21 crore viewership for Aaj Tak went beyond News channels, GRC channels, and GEC channels. For the first time, it has become the most popular channel amongst all the genres of channels. Below mentioned are some data: Aaj Tak is placed in the third spot at the HSM level in terms of Gross Impression in '000s. In the last four days of this week, Aaj Tak is No.1 channel at the HSM level in Gross Impression in '000s.
